The past couple of years have taught us numerous lessons, but a lighter one among them is the importance of reclaiming our homes and transforming them from a place where we work, workout, teach, seek entertainment, etc. into oases where we can unwind and recharge. As restrictions begin to ease and the world resumes its daily bustle, it’s been more important than ever to reclaim our homes as the space we turn to for rest and relaxation. Our team shares their spaces, their favorite scent memories, and how home fragrance adds that final touch in our latest zine — IN HOUSE: Vol. 5.
Remember when hygge gained popularity in the mid 2010s? The core of hygge is embracing the small things in life that matter. It’s about the now: how to enjoy the moment and make the best of it. This concept is so relatable at the moment as we reclaim our spaces to recharge from the sometimes draining daily routine that involves leaving our homes. Our plans for this season? We’re gonna bring a whole lotta hygge into our homes using fragrance to create a cozy, relaxing atmosphere to spend time with those whose company we appreciate — basically, giving ourselves a treat. Whether we indulge in the ritual of lighting incense or basking in the soft glow and aroma of our favorite candle. It’s the little things that bring us joy and mean more than ever this year, and hunkering down for an intentionally present season with our favorite people is what we’re looking forward to.
