Behind the Collab: P.F. x The Hundreds
Our latest collab with The Hundreds is definitely one for the books. After years of following their journey within the streetwear community, we’ve finally teamed up to create a fragrance that encapsulates co-founder Bobby Hundreds’ love of surfing, ubiquitous of the SoCal lifestyle. Stay tuned for WAVES, an epic release that will include a fresh take on our scented soy candles, incense cones, and car fragrance.
Built from the ground up, The Hundreds was founded by Bobby Kim and Ben Shenassafar in 2003. Viewing the world as their gallery, they began with their first fall collection featuring seven graphic tees emblazoned with graphics in one-color screen prints — an expression fueled by DIY roots. This iconic brand has massively grown and their clothing is reminiscent of ‘90s workwear and Californian subculture tribes. But it was never just about apparel, but instead community — a true expression of streetwear culture.
WAVES is a morning surf-inspired scent, created exclusively for The Hundreds, to celebrate our Los Angeles roots + DIY backgrounds. Inspired by Co-Founder Bobby Hundreds’ love of early morning surf sessions, WAVES captures the meditative magic of the ocean with salty marine notes and a clean muskiness, all grounded by warm, woody undertones. WAVES is a custom scent that is marine, musky, and woody. It opens with notes of violet water, pink pepper, and vanilla orchid. As the scent develops, the aromas of sea salt, balsa wood, and cedar leaf are grounded by warm notes of sandstone, driftwood, musk that gently linger in the atmosphere. WAVES is perfect for post-surf rituals and meditative moments when the need to slow down and enjoy the little things of everyday life arises.
