Tip 1: Scents to Chill You Out

Let’s face it, life can get hectic sometimes, and we all need that time to chill out and decompress — especially during the holiday season. To recharge your battery and get you back to a good place, we recommend scents that help achieve that maximum chill. Our picks are Golden Coast for its notes of eucalyptus, sea salt air, white lavender, and palo santo. Another fave from our Sunset Line is Golden Hour. This scent’s accord of bergamot, hay, and golden poppy creates a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for chilling out. Light a candle, spark some incense, draw yourself a bath, and enjoy a TV binge after for a sensory chill out sesh.

Tip 2: Scents to Ground You

If you find yourself caught up in the bustle of prepping for the holidays, family visits, or if you’re the lucky member of the family that’s hosting this year, feeling grounded is essential. We believe grounding scents are very personal, but if you need a little guidance or are looking to try something new, we recommend Sandalwood Rose and Patchouli Sweetgrass. Create your ideal atmosphere with these scents and enjoy a quiet yoga session in your living room, read your favorite book, or try a small DIY project to help you feel present and connected to yourself.

Tips to Stay Relaxed | Common Scents: The P.F. Blog - Tip 3: Scents to Comfort You

Tip 3: Scents to Comfort You

Although this may be the happiest season of all, sometimes our circumstances may not fit into the conventional belief of what the holidays should be. In these moments, finding comfort is all too important to help us get through. Or maybe the stress of it all has caught up with us, and we need that extra TLC to help us feel recalibrated. We recommend comforting scents like Amber & Moss, with notes of sage, moss, and lavender for moments like these. Black Fig is another fave with notes of evergreen, mission fig, and spice. As our founder, Kristen, says, “there’s a comforting simplicity about replicating nurturing food that you eat.” We also love Piñon for its comforting notes of Piñon logs, cedar, and vanilla. Take some time to cater to yourself and bake your favorite recipe, or indulge in a self-care session, whatever that may be.

I loved that you said that you could consider lighting a candle and drawing yourself a bath in order to chill out. With this in mind, I will be sure to consider ordering soy candles that I can light whenever I want to relax and whenever I do my yoga sessions every morning. Your tips will surely help me enjoy my alone time every weekend. https://theenchantedrealms.com/shop/ols/products/small-candle-goddess
