Our Commitment to Sustainability
Climate change and humanity’s impact on the planet is a growing concern. As we rapidly grow, we view sustainability as our ethical duty. Why focus on sustainability? Well, it’s the right thing to do and it touches on some of our core values. In the midst of what is only the beginning of climate change, we are fully committed to practices that will further offset and neutralize our carbon footprint. Protecting our environment and our community is important to us, and we know we can achieve our carbon neutral goals with the necessary practices.
In 2021, we began the process by measuring our carbon footprint through Climate Neutral’s unique and innovative Business Emissions Estimator (BEE) tool. Climate Neutral is reviewing our calculations and will give us the opportunity to offset our carbon emissions by investing in carbon reduction and removal products, like clean energy and reforestation. We will remain accountable by Climate Neutral, who requires all brands to develop and implement at minimum two reduction action plans (RAP) to reduce our emissions over the next 12-24 months.
Have we mentioned we can totally do this together? By supporting our independently owned business you support initiatives to preserve and protect our environment and our communities, and we know we can do the damn thing.
We’ll be rolling out additional plans soon to continue to work toward our goal of offsetting and neutralizing our carbon footprint while supporting our efforts toward sustainability. Check out Climate Neutral and all the organizations that have joined forces to preserve our incredible planet.
