“I’ve been burning a lot of incense lately so if my family got me incense for Mother’s Day, I’d be stoked (hint hint). My picks are Moonrise incense cones and Ojai Lavender or Piñon incense sticks. Pair it with an incense holder and you’re good to go!”
“Gift mom an 8 oz Teakwood & Tobacco (a classic) hand soap that she can refill with a 16 oz Swell refill bottle. My mom and mother-in-law have all been asking me about getting a refill for them — I’d pick a different scent so she can be an alchemist and mix them together.”
“This is my favorite scent we’ve done in YEARS! It’s a juicy twist on a classic scent and will make mom think about a weekend getaway to Ojai, even if she’s only been there in her mind.”
“Full disclosure, I wrote this book! And I know for a fact my mom liked getting it! Haha. But in all seriousness, this is great for moms who want to figure out how best they can use fragrance in their home — whether it’s banishing bad cooking smells or finding a scent that brings joy. The DIY projects at the end would be a great “do it together” IOU. Plus, it will look good on her coffee table.”

Hi Janis!
We currently don’t offer refills for our reed diffusers, and recommend replacing your reed diffuser as it also comes with fresh set of rattan reeds for maximum scent throw. Our glass bottles are great for reusing, and you can also recycle them through your local recycling program. If you’re in the LA area, our Echo Park Flagship offers a recycling program as well.
