Your Next DIY: A Holiday Tablescape

Hosting during this holiday season? We get it, it can be stressful at times, but it doesn’t have to be. One of our favorite parts is creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of scented soy candles, some incense, and room spray for high traffic spaces and linens that need a quick fragrance refresh. We also love creating a welcoming tablescape, after all, this is where the majority of the gathering happens, especially during the holidays. Check out what’s been inspiring us to create the ultimate tablescape.

HOW TO CREATE A TABLESCAPE

Start with your base, that can be a table runner or tablecloth or both, and add your placemats, napkins, dishware, silverware, and glassware. Top it all off with your decorations, being greenery, flowers, candles, and any other materials you’ll use to bring your vision to life. The key here is to layer, bringing depth and contrast to your table, no matter how minimal or extravagant you wish to go. That’s it! It’s easy and fun and most of all, remember this is to show your guests that you’ve been thinking of them by creating a welcoming atmosphere ahead of their arrival, so don’t stress about making it perfect!
