NEW TO THE LINE: ROOM SPRAYS

After countless requests and months of production tests, we have finally added room sprays to our line! Our very first release comes in five of our best-selling scents and we are SO excited to share them with you.

ABOUT OUR ROOM SPRAYS
Each room spray bottle comes with 2oz of water sourced from Mt. Shasta mixed with our unique-to-us blend of body-safe fragrance oils. Available in Teakwood & Tobacco, Amber & Moss, Golden Coast, Patchouli Sweetgrass and Copal.

Here are a few ways P.F. staff is using these room sprays....

Car freshener: Take your favorite scent with you on the road with one of our room sprays. Our travel-friendly bottles make transport easy, and they're even proven to make traffic a little more bearable (okay, that might be a stretch. You know what we mean). Spray the seats or carpeting of your ride with a room spray and get ready for smooth-sailing. Our scents can add the perfect, bright scent to your car - something a little more special than a green pine tree hanging from the mirror. Who knew you could bring P.F. Candle Co. on the go?

Linen spray: Another great way to brighten up your space is to use a room spray on your linens or curtains. Spritz one a few times on your couches or curtains to fill any room with a punch of P.F.

Pillow Spritz: We like to keep a room spray (or two) bedside. Adding a couple sprays to pillows and blankets makes falling asleep that much more sweet.

Pet Bed Savior: Here at P.F., most of us are pet owners. Dogs, cats, bunnies - you name it, someone in the warehouse has one! We love our animals, but could sometimes do without their smell...that's where P.F. Candle Co. room sprays come in. Although our room sprays won't completely erase odor, our fragrances are pleasing and refreshing enough to make any room feel the same. You only have to use 4-6 pumps on fabrics in the room you'd like to freshen up, and it makes all the difference. Of course, our fragrance and essential oil blends are pet-safe and we're proud to say that we never test on animals.

Let's get to spritzing!

Hi JS,

This is Alyx from P.F. Candle Co.! Thanks so much for your question on our blog post regarding our reed diffusers and pet safety.

The safety of our customers and their furry friends is of the utmost importance to us here at P.F. Candle Co. Most of us at the studio are pet owners and parents, and we’re all very comfortable and confident when using P.F. Candle Co. products every day in our homes.

That being said, all of our products are cruelty-free, vegan, paraben-free, phthalate-free and free of all Prop 65 chemicals. Our reed diffusers contain a blend of naturally-derived and man-made fragrance oils, and each diffuser includes a bundle of naturally-harvested rattan reeds sticks to absorb and slowly release the fragrance throughout your space. Our reed diffusers should only be used as instructed and the fragranced liquid should not be used in any plug-in diffusers. For the strongest scent throw, we suggest using all included reed sticks, or, for a more subtle scent throw, we suggest only using 3-4 reed sticks.

To answer your question, I would say they’re very safe so long as they’re used properly and are kept out of reach of pets. As a rule of thumb, we suggest using any fragranced products (candles, reed diffusers, room sprays, or incense) in safe spaces out of reach of animals in order to avoid any accidents.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reply here or direct them to our customer care team at info@pfcandleco.com where we can take care of you further!

Thank you again, and hope you have a nice day!

hello – is the teakwood and tabacoo reed diffuser safe for dogs?

Hi Kaitlin,

Thanks so much for your question! Our room sprays are water-based solutions blended with fragrance & essential oils, so although they do not go ‘bad’ they are best if used within one year. The amber jar helps protect the contents from sunlight, and storing in a cool, dark place could help extend a room spray’s shelf life. For any other questions about room sprays we can help you out with, check our FAQ page or email us at hello@pfcandleco.com. Thank you!

I noticed that these do not have a preservative. How long do they last before they go bad?

Hi Megan, thanks for the comment!

Our fragrance oil has been specially made for us to be water-soluble, so shaking isn’t really necessary. But it doesn’t hurt to do so anyway!

Hope you get to try one out soon!

These look amazing! Since they only have spring water and fragrance oil in them and those two don’t mix together, do you have to shake them up a bunch before you spritz? Would love to try one out!
