  • A COCKTAIL MENU BY CAFE BIRDIE

Just when you thought your favorite P.F. Candle Co. scents couldn't get any better, we teamed up with
Highland Park's Cafe Birdie and its back bar, Good Housekeeping, to pour everything you love about them over ice. Megan, Birdie's Beverage Director, took inspiration from 4 scents' notes to create her own cocktail recipes just for P.F. Candle Co.

Orange Cardamom is now a spicy twist on a Tom Collins, Nightshade is now a floral Gin Fizz, Sweet Grapefruit makes a citrusy Pisco drink and Teakwood & Tobacco just elevated a spirit-forward classic.

We visited the beautiful Cafe Birdie to get a special look (and taste) to find out how Megan makes candle scents and cocktails work together.

No. 27 Collins, inspired by Orange Cardamom
A spiced twist on a Tom Collins

    2 oz. Mulholland Gin
    .5 oz. Mandarine Napoleon
    .5 oz. Chai syrup
    .75 oz. Lemon Juice
2 dashes Miracle Mile Bergamot Bitters
Shake all ingredients with ice, add 2 oz. Soda and strain over ice. Garnish with an orange twist.

Pisco Cocktail, inspired by Sweet Grapefruit
A classic, brightened by yuzu and citrus.

    2 oz. Capurro Achelado Pisco
    .5 oz. Dolin Blanc Vermouth
    .5 oz. Lillet Blanc
    2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
2 dashes Miracle Mile Yuzu bitters
Stir ingredients together with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with Grapefruit twist.

Ramos Gin Fizz, inspired by Nightshade
A floral take on a frothy favorite

    2 oz. Gin
    1 oz. lemon juice
    .75 oz. pomegranate syrup
    2 dashes lavender bitters
    1 egg white
Shake all ingredients until egg is emulsified, then add ice and shake again to chill. Strain in to chilled Collins glass without ice. Add 2 oz. Soda. Garnish with viola flowers.

The Improved Whiskey Cocktail, inspired by Teakwood & Tobacco
Our line's most popular scent in a glass.

    Bourbon
    Asian pear syrup
    Maraschino liqueur
    Clove infused absinthe rinse
    Flamed orange twist for garnish
Stir all ingredients together and strain in to chilled old fashioned glass misted with clove infused absinthe. Garnish with flamed orange twist.
